![]() I know music can’t have color but this one’s definitely pastel. Listening to Q is like listening to heart-fluttering cotton candy. The Flight Log series was pretty much leaning on the edgy and dark concept’s side and while there are some exceptions along the way ( Let Me for example), none of them left me in awe as much as Q. I always had a very soft spot for Q inside my heart. The highlight of the song is probably the bridge where the group’s main vocal, Youngjae, explodes with his powerful vocals. If you’re into sexy music and crazy vocals, then Sign is for you. You also may have not noticed but we’re already at the eighth song but who cares, GOT7’s music is that good. ![]() If you see a GOT7 fan wearing AirPods suddenly body-rolling, it’s most likely that they’re listening to Boom x3. The song is probably one of their strongest ever and while Fly is great, Beggin on my Knees is epic. I often see fans regarding Beggin on my Knees as the Flight Log trilogy’s best song and I wouldn’t blame them at all. Beggin’ on my Kneesĭid you know that this song is written by DAY6 member, Young.K? Rewind is just straight up sexy, alluring, and captivating. This one in particular’s pretty special since one of my favorite members took part in its production. But thankfully in 2016, GOT7’s renaissance came through the Flight Log trilogy. I’ll be honest, GOT7’s music was pretty lackluster from debut to 2015. It showed GOT7’s more sentimental style with a ballad approach that proved the members’ beautiful voices and harmonies. ![]() Star or otherwise known as Farewell, as one of GOT7’s all time best songs. While that opinion may have changed or wavered, I’d still put To. The first time I listened to this song, I immediately thought of one thing. Tic Tic Tok is an addictive song, and MarkSon’s rap? Perfection! To. The four albums prior shown the members’ youthful sides but this album formally marked the start of their more mature image and style in music. I remember the shivers I got when I heard the highlight medley of this album and the very last song to be teased was Tic Tic Tok. It’s playful and is perfect for parties! Tic Tic Tok Turn Up The MusicĪmong all GOT7 albums, I think the most ignored was Identify, well I’m not gonna lie, it’s not as good as the other albums… thanks JYP! The song that stood out the most for me though was Turn Up The Music. The song is pretty generic, but for a rookie boy group? It was pretty damn impressive! The song highlighted the vocals of the members more as there is little to no rap involved. Now this is what should have been GOT7’s debut song! No, really, Like Oh is THAT song. This song is also one of the best GOT7 songs showcasing the rappers’ skills in rapping, which has been less utilized as their career went forward. Let’s start this with what should have been GOT7’s debut song! Just kidding… or am I? Nevertheless, I Like You is the perfect song to capture what GOT7’s concept was when they debuted: playful and naughty influenced by hip-hop. Here are seven b-sides from GOT7 you need to listen to! (Pre-release songs not included) I Like You Nevertheless, GOT7 is not just a boy group with challenging dance routines, good looks, and talented members their title tracks may have not enticed you, but their b-sides proves that they have a solid discography as well. The group just celebrated their seventh anniversary last January 16th and while we are all celebrating that the boys are finally free from the chains of JYP, we can’t help but feel sentimental and emotional. It was just announced that none of the members will re-sign with their company, JYP Entertainment, and every member will pursue their individual endeavors from here on. It has been a very eventful period for the worldwide boy group GOT7 and their fans.
